Plasma Series The era PL series was designed to perform as well as the Design 4 and Design 5, even with the added acoustical problems a large screen inevitably creates.

Most plasma speakers are mounted well behind the screen when flanking the plasma monitor. This looks odd and is sonically disadvantaged from the start. Being a company full of audiophiles, this problem was addressed from the onset.

The almost free form functionality of the bracket makes the PL series unique and useful with any panel TV as you can extend the PL series to meet the front plane of the screen so a stereo image can be created and a sense of depth can be realized. The exclusive bracket makes for a very clean installation.

Using a tilting plasma bracket above your fireplace? No worries. The PL series will tilt at the same viewing as your plasma.

Cosmetically, it simply looks better. Sonically, it’s absolutely necessary, as this allows correct positioning of the PL series speakers keeping the soundstage intact and precise.

We purposefully over-engineered the PL series in every way starting with a 3 mm extruded aluminum extruded cabinet and ending with a uniquely designed bracket that improves sonics and cosmetics. 3mm is twice the thickness of most on-wall cabinets yielding the speakers inert and resonance free. This allows the proprietary drivers to be mounted on a rigid surface utilizing all of the energy the drive units have to offer. Inside, the cabinets are deadened by anti-resonate material, so the cabinet is as rigid as the traditional era speakers.
