Bass sounds natural and strong due to the long throw, vented voice
coil drivers. The D4 is internally braced with a one inch mdf so when
you lift one, you feel and see high level craftsmanship in every way.
The binding posts and back plate are among the best you can get and
even the grill has a baffle blanket so the speakers sound as good with
the grills on as they do off.

who prefers audiophile performance. The basic design and performance
parameters belong to Era, while a large part of the engineering should
be attributed to Michael Kelly. The drivers were custom designed by
Michael to ensure a very high level of performance at a reasonable
price. When you couple terrific fidelity with a heavily fortified
cabinet wrapped in exotic wood veneers; the Era speakers represent an
enormous value.

The D4 LCR can be used as a center channel speaker or an LCR
in a hometheater setup. It utilizes the same drivers as the D4
satellite and is timbre matched to ensure a balanced surround
soundstage. Build and finish qualities are second to none, with
performance characteristics of much more expensive speakers.
